As the summer days are rapidly drawing to a close, we can finally announce three wonderfully diverse programmes of choral music to see you through the Autumn/Winter months.
We’re delighted to welcome Sofi Jeannin to Dublin for the first time to direct an all-French choral programme interspersed with piano interludes by the American pianist, Alexander Bernstein. From well-known works by Fauré and Debussy through to some wonderful works by Lili Boulange and Mel Bonis – we have a rare treat in such a selection of delightful French music. We are privileged to partner with the French Embassy in Ireland for this programme.
For our final two programmes of the year, Paul Hillier weaves his now familiar, magic with a wide-ranging ‘fantasia’ of choral music loosely based on the idea of ‘the seven ages of man’.
And to close the year, what better than the most traditional of Christmas concerts including newly commissioned carols by CCI’s own Eoghan Desmond.
Peruse our brochure, marvel at what choral delights away, and we look forward to seeing you at our final three concerts of the year.
