This programme is the first in a series of four spread across the 2018-19 season in which Chamber Choir Ireland will present the complete motets of Bach, together with related works by Brahms, Schütz, and a variety of medieval and contemporary composers. The first programme includes works from the Old Bach Archive, two motets by Brahms, and Bach’s Jesu meine Freude as well as works by Giovanni di Palestrina, Sebastian Knüpfer and Heinrich Isaac.
The Dublin concert will be accompanied by a free pre-concert talk given by broadcaster Tim Thurston in conversation with Paul Hillier, given 1 hour before the concert. Further details on pre-concert talks can be found through the following link - Talks Info
