Composers Bianca Gannon, Laura Heneghan, and Caterina Schembri bring their new musical ideas—or sketches—to an open workshop with Chamber Choir Ireland and Grammy-winning conductor, Paul Hillier.
The purpose of Choral Sketches is to provide a creative and open environment for composers to deepen their experience in writing for choir, with mentorship from renowned Irish composer, Rhona Clarke.
Members of the public will get to witness this early stage of the year-long creative process, as the composers work with professional performers to develop their new pieces of choral music.
Choral Sketches is delivered in partnership with the Contemporary Music Centre.
