Witness the early stages of the creative process in the first public workshop of Choral Sketches 2023.
Composers Timothy Ethan Doyle, Brian Keegan, and Conor McGlone bring their new musical ideas—or sketches—to an open workshop with Chamber Choir Ireland and conductor Sofi Jeannin.
The purpose of Choral Sketches is to provide a creative and open environment for composers to deepen their experience in writing for choir. It offers a collegial atmosphere for selected composers to learn from their peers as well as performers. As part of New Music Dublin, audiences are welcomed in to witness the early stages of the compositional process.
Delivered in partnership with the Contemporary Music Centre.
