Handel’s Messiah (LIVESTREAM)

Always a winter favourite and tradition for many, Handel's Messiah is a work much-loved in Dublin and performed world-wide as we approach the Christmas season.  Directed by Peter Whelan, Chamber Choir Ireland joins the Irish Baroque Orchestra performing on period instruments to capture the sound world of the original Dublin performance some 300 years ago now.  We are delighted to partner with the National Concert Hall to present this concert in the NCH Classical Livestream series and share the digital concert platform over the series with our colleagues in Irish Baroque Orchestra, Irish Chamber Orchestra, and Irish National Opera as well as a host of Irish soloists.
