Join Chamber Choir Ireland this December for Nine Lessons and Carols, a very special concert featuring a selection of festive classics interspersed with traditional readings in the glorious surrounds of Christ Church Cathedral Dublin and St Thomas’ Church Belfast.
The Nine Lessons service was formalised in 1880 and has continued as a Christmas tradition ever since. Chamber Choir Ireland’s Artistic Director Paul Hillier has arranged a selection of traditional and not so traditional carols, for this year’s concert, which are complemented by additional works from Skempton, Praetorious, Crosse and Ó Gallchobhair.
Chamber Choir Ireland’s annual Christmas performance is a festive highlight for many and is the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas season with loved ones. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment!
