Abbi Temple
Abbi studied singing at Trinity College of Music in London, and has enjoyed a varied freelance career combining choral, consort and solo oratorio singing with occasional opera and recital work. As well as singing with Chamber Choir Ireland she is also a member of the UK-based 5-voice ensemble Papagena, a group that explores the wealth of music written specifically for women’s voices from 11th century to present day.
Over the years Abbi has sung with various other ensembles, including Coro Casa da Musica Porto, The Gabrieli Consort, Ars Nova Copenhagen, Theatre of Voices and The English Concert. Her opera roles have included Atalanta (Handel Xerxes), Vixen (Janacek The Cunning Little Vixen), Susanna (Mozart Le Nozze di Figaro), Despina (Mozart Cosi fan Tutte) and Zerlina (Mozart Don Giovanni).
